My experience at CDC is always fantastic! Dr Seema is an incredibly kind and passionate dentist who is so encouraging even when I arrive worrying about the state of my gum recession! Our hygienist, Tess, is equally as passionate, encouraging and diligent at her profession! She's also extremely confident, personable and knowledgeable in all aspects of oral health. "Leave no stain behind" is certainly her motto and no matter how long it takes, she always uses every tool and freezing tactic at her disposal to complete all procedures as thoroughly & as painlessly as possible. Dr. Seema and Tess bring so much to the profession & it's so comforting having this amazing duo for our oral health needs.Thank you both, so much, for your consistent & attentive ongoing care! ~ Connie S

I have been a patient at Courtenay Dental Health and Implant Centre for a number of years now and am extremely pleased with Dr. Edraki who was fairly recently added to the team. I have made note of his professionalism and demeanour in dealing with both patients and staff alike and I feel fortunate to have him as my dentist. I recently encountered a painful issue with regard to teeth clenching and grinding and Dr. Edraki was able to identify what was going on, referring me to the appropriate specialist in a very timely fashion. He also went above and beyond with follow-ups and checking in on me, a level of care I had never before experienced with any dentist. I have also been very, very impressed with the staff and hygienists at the clinic, particularly Correne, Phyllis, Nicole and Tess, who have really made me feel like a valued patient. This is a first class operation. The receptionist was pleasant and courteous. There was minimal delay in terms of getting started. The Dental Assistant did a fairly comprehensive medical history as this was my first time there; and then took a panoramic x-ray. The Dr. did a thorough examination, and answered all my questions. Also, she explored a couple options with me. In the end, I was given a referral to a trusted, local Denture Clinic; which was, in fact, the reason that I booked the appointment. Everyone I encountered during my visit was a pleasure to deal with. I chose this clinic because they are highly rated and I can confirm that they have earned that rating. ~ chris a

Polite, professional and courteous as always. Office consistently presents a calming environment. Excellent work by the Hygienist yet again. Most importantly though...they're ON TIME (and very unlike many businesses in the Comox Valley) they COMMUNICATE with the client. Can't stress enough client-communication being the most vital aspect to any business...that wants/needs to STAY in business. Update: 23 May 25. They were able to book me in for a last minute appt for 1840 on Thurs evening. I had concerns which had them concerned. Straight into the chair...dental assistant and dentist. I had a tooth pulled which is never a good experience but the dentist and assistant made it such a good experience. I had a very bad tooth and it had to go. Thank you team for friendliness patience and all around great job see you in the New Year....I've neglected my teeth over the past years so of course I have root exposure and so forth they make sure I am the most comfortable possible they tell jokes they keep you included in the conversations about what's happening in the moment there's no other place I'd like to go to then here I hope you all feel the same hey by the way staff Merry Christmas and Happy New years to you ~ Raven B

It is a pleasure to walk into this dental office. The staff at the desk are wonderfully warm and helpful. The dental hygienist is very personable and builds my confidence by clearly explaining all the details of my mouth care, and then doing the cleaning carefully and thoroughly. A very affirmative, precious person! The dentist is quick and efficient and does good work. His dental assistant is another gem of a person who puts me at ease by her informed and comfortable talking with me. I feel very well cared for and Yes! My teeth feel good, too🤗👌🏻! Update after multi visits for different work done: I have never been to a friendlier, more efficient office...Salima is my absolute favorite dental assistant I've ever met, hands down! Dr. Marzieh is the best dentist I've ever had, and always treats me like I actually matter to her. The kindness, knowledge and treatment I receive from this entire team is out of this world, truly. You can tell they really love their jobs. I'm so lucky to have found this dental office in the valley! Shoutout to Lee for cleaning my teeth today and making my experience a good one... definitely recommend this office for all dental needs! By the way, I appreciate as much information as possible being told to me, also not my first rodeo at a dentist office, in response to the gentleman below talking about less info more work being done lol we should be so lucky to have people who take the time to explain things to us in this day and age! 😆 💚🦷🪥 ~ MMM P

On the very day that I moved to Comox, the anchor tooth of my bridge broke off at the gumline, and the whole bridge collapsed. Yikes! I was so lucky to pick Courtenay Dental Health & Implant Centre from the online list of dentists. That was two years ago, and Dr. Marika Arnold and Dr. Tasso Irinakis have given me the best dental and periodontal care of my whole life. AND they are lovely, and interested in me, and fun. And the whole staff is wonderful. I feel so welcomed and cared about. Dentist appointments are GOOD DAYS. What a great place! ~ anniestar g

Having moved to Courtenay recently, I figured it was time to get a new dentist. I booked a new patient appointment and was surprised as to how much time and effort the entire staff spent on making me feel welcome and comfortable. The entire process lasted about two hours and I left with a clean mouth and a good hygiene plan moving forward. I had to return for a filling the following week and once again I was met with kind, professional staff. From the hygienist, assistant, to the dentist, they all worked well to make sure my visit was easy and successful. Thank you all. Second appointment for more work. This time a new hygienist and a new Dentist ... SAME GREAT SERVICE. I am impressed with the entire staff. From the assistants at the front to the Dentists who poke around your teeth ... all of them are kind, polite, professional, and just make you feel relaxed. I can't say enough!! Excellence across the board in professionalism, friendliness, how they make me feel comfortable, how considerate and accommodating they are, not to mention how innovative and on top of the dental knowledge they are. Every single person there is kind and very considerate and cognitive of their patients feelings, explaining every procedure, and, as a child, I had very BAD experiences with dentists, so I used to be very fearful. Thank you so much to the staff that came to help me on their day off with my dental emergency. You made a horrible experience feel effortless and care free. I knocked two of my teeth out of position and broke one in half. An hour later you wouldn’t have known! The doctor was able to put two of my teeth back in place and give me a temporary filling that looks perfect. Really had an amazing experience at Courtenay Dental Health and Implant Centre! First of all, they managed to give me an appointment for a dental cleaning/exam at the last minute and then they managed to treat my cavities on the same day so that I would be able to use my dental coverage (which was going to expire the day after). I’m really grateful towards them for that. Also, all of the personnel were so nice and welcoming, I felt at ease as soon as I entered the clinic.Thank you again for everything! ~ Jérémy T

Courtenay Dental Health & Implant Centre has always had a great family feel to it. They always tailor to individual needs because let’s face it we all react differently to dentistry. I have always been appreciative of their approach in this regard. They will send reminders to keep you up to date with appointments and have a wonderful front desk staff to pair with their A-team of dental hygienists. The whole team at Courtenay Dental Health are lovely. When we first moved to the Valley we didn’t know anyone who could recommend a dental office to us. My son, husband, and I all love the team from the front staff to the dentists & hygienists. They are always willing to help, friendly, kind, and extremely punctual. As a family, we also truly appreciate that our dentists are connected to The EndoPerio Group, so if more intense work is needed, the specialists are right across the hall. Highly recommend. Speaking as a person who struggles with fear of a dental chair. I can't say enough about how Dr. Arnold has an innate ability to put you at ease . She is very attentive and you never feel rushed with her. She is ready and willing to give you whatever time you need to answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have. As for the office staff, they are a friendly, efficient and cohesive crew. Going to the dentist office somehow is made a lot easier with an overall team like this. ~ Ginny &

Dr. Adam and staff are the most friendly people. Whether it’s a teeth cleaning or a root canal they make sure you’re comfortable and help ease the anxiety (which I always have). Extremely positive space and healthy humour! As much as I dislike needing work done they make the experience as good as they can. They also have great music playing every time. So I personally want to give them a shoutout, as I’ve become a regular this year… and thank them for exceptional service ☺️ ~ Felicity C

The staff here are always friendly and compassionate. I have a significant fear of needles and the staff have always been understanding and supportive, with no negative reactions or shaming behaviors. My children have always had positive experiences here as well, which has helped to build not only healthy oral hygiene habits, but positive associations with dental care, which will last a lifetime. It was so easy to become a client with them, the staff are always so friendly, they do their best to get as many costs covered by my insurance as they can, flexible hours, central, lots of parking, and I always leave with a tooth brush and floss from them! I usually hate going for a cleaning because my teeth are so sensitive, but they do their best to make my visit as comfortable as possible. Full marks for my visit to the dentist today. My appointment started right on time and I was amazed at how quickly my work got done. I was so impressed with how efficient Dr. Kufley and her assistant were. Dr. Kufley explained everything she was doing and did a thorough debrief when the work was done. Excellent work and the office staff were great in taking care of the billing arrangements very quickly. A very positive, professional visit to a well run dental office. ~ Bill V

I had a great experience here! The staff were very accommodating and were able to get me an appointment within just a few days for my first visit. Anna, if I’m remembering her name correctly, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She did a great job with my cleaning and took the time to explain everything clearly. They were also very helpful in arranging an appointment the following day to have my cavity frozen. Overall, I’m very happy with the care I received and would highly recommend them! ~ Aman B

I have been going to the Dental Health and implant centre for about 6 years. In the past I was leery of dental offices because they would often suggest I needed a lot of work done that I felt I didn't need. That has not been my experience with this office. They also have been really good at communicating and referring to other offices which I have found challenging with other places in the past. The best care that possibly can be attained is with this centre. You have full range care between the two offices so all treatments can happen at this one location. They are always one step ahead planning your appointments and keeping your dental care up to date and paying attention to what you need.The best part is that you genuinely feel that they care and want to help you achieve great results. ~ Joy S
